Help Wanted...

Ok here's my dilemma (is that how it's spelled?). I will be getting into honolulu on Sunday the 2nd of Jan. The problem comes in after the plane lands, i pick up my luggage and walk outside. Yep that's about as far as I have planned. I figured I could walk if really needed but someone kinda informed me that wasn't the smartest idea. So here's what I'm asking. If anyone knows of ppl with cars that wouldn't mind coming to get me, or letting someone else use their car to come and get me, that would be great. (The truly odd thing is that I should be stressing over this...)

Hate naming these....

um...a dark green mood? ok odd way to start but hey that's what you get when you're reading something written by Capt. Caf. I mean seriously, who's called Capt. Caf these days?

So I've locked myself in my room because my bro and his gf are in the lobby. it's midnight now and she lives more than an hour away! she's been here since like 2 when they went to church together! seriously! let her go home. so mushy. anyways so I closed my door and decided to blog instead of watching them be all cute.

I just got done watching RotK:EE including the Easter Eggs. (if you have no idea what I'm talking about you deserve to be poked very violently before I explain it laters.) It is very, very, very good! and that's an understatement.

So my talk went well this morning. I thought I was very random but one of the ladies said it had a lot of personality. I'm wondering if that's the same kind of compliment like: "It was very....interesting..." I wasn't embarrassed and mom said the bishop was hilarious to watch while I was talking. somtimes he acts like he's my dad. it's great! I talked about deadlines and examples. I told you it was random. A lof of it was extemping too. Thank you Speech and Debate!! Everyone is so impressed that I never look at my notes but ya know, they don't help much unless i'm really really lost.

So on to the next subject, we'll just backward in time. So next is Midnight Mass. I'm really curious so please comment if you read this part. How many of y'all have been to Midnight Mass? How many acctually know what Midnight Mass is? I love it. It's a little tradition for the girls, used to be me, mom and grams, to go. Sissy sometimes came. Anyways, grams passed on and me and mom still like to go when she feels well enough at night. So we went to the Emaculate Heart of Mary with Stevie. I made him stay up for it. He could've gone with his fam way earlier. Anyways, I loved finding the differences between the religions. Oddly, I can only remember one and it was in one of the prayers. The rest seemed like it was very very much the same just different rituals symbolizing the same thing. we're not as unique as we like to think sometimes.

Finally the last subject! This is a long blog, sorry! So this is the funnest tradition!! Me, Dad, and Mom went Santa Clausing!! It was great!! He looks so good as Kris Kringle and I look so funny as an elf. I do have the height down good! hehe... Even lookin that goofy an old man commented on my good looks. Mom figures he might have been celebrating. I think he's just old and using that as an excuse to say things like "Aren't you a pretty little thing? I'm old, but not that old." I couldn't stop laughin! This was the first year Mr Clause accutally made 2 kids cry. They were crying before they got to him though so it's ok. for some reason to see kids cry over that is really cute and funny at the same time! is that mean? ehhe At another house everyone wanted lip gloss. All except the boy of course. the littlest girl wanted a skateboard, lip gloss and make-up, and oh yea rollar skates too. she was cute. My fave little girl was the best though. At first all she would say was "I don't want to". By the end she was showing Santa her bed so he knew where she'd be later when he came down the chimmney which she showed him too. I got to hold Anne who had just been born when I left for college. So sweet with a red mohawk!

ok i'm gonna end this blog before I get slapped with some wet noodles. Or something equally horrible happens to me.

kises!

reminder to self...

ok this blog is boring cause it's just a reminder to myself of what I want to write about, and talk on in church, tomorrow. (this is procrastination) Ok I'm gonna blog on Midnight Mass, Christmas is about stories, and Santa Clausing. I think that sounds good.

What I should be doing

I'm wasting time. I don't have much time to waste, oh well.
I'm writing this post for the pure intent of saying what my song of the day is. So here is it: For You by Duncan Sheik. It's a good song, kinda makes me...homesick I suppose. More like ppl-sick. whatever.
anyways, I really need to run around all the presents i have for my friends cause it's christmas eve! Such procrastination!

Wanna know..

Wanna know what really bites. Cold showers. I don't like it when someone else in the house uses all the warm water so when I get in I have it turned all the way to hot but it's still spurting out COLD water! So then I wash my hair etc etc etc, shivering the entire time, and dry off and I'm still freezing!! So now I'm sittin' in my room wrapped up in towels, blankets, coats, sweaters, slippers, anything I have around this tiny room to try to warm up to a normal tempature! Stupid cold weather! But it did snow last night. It's so pretty! I love the snow, at least to look at.

Home Ward

I really have nothing cool to say but as usual I'm slightly bored and cruzing the internet. (i'm acctually waiting for all my pics to load so I can fix up my website.) So here's the nice little update on my life. I do not belong and it doesn't bother me in the least. This morning me and my mom went to a local Baptist church because they had a christmas presentation and her friend was doing solo. It was very nice. There was even a baptism before the service. So then we go to the next 3 hours of church. I wore a VERY hawaiian dress to my home ward. I kinda skipped sunday skool cause we were just wandering. It was nice though cause I saw a whole bunch of ppl that I wanted to say hi to. (Oddly enough quite a few of them knew about a friend. I would say my mom is a gossiper but she never talks bad so...it's harmless and really quite funny.) So anyways, finally I go to YW for a little bit, I had to say the theme. Thank goodness I remembered it. Then I headed over to RS for the rest. Everywhere I went I stood out. I think I like that. On to not belonging though. Well, either I was not in my own church, or the onlly one in bright red and yellow, or the oldest, or the youngest. there are few places in this world I belong and very few of them are around home nowadays. Kinda cool.

Yet again...

I should stop stayin' up so late. It's now 11pm Hawaii time which means it's 2am Colorado time. I'm in Colorado right now. I have to wake up to make my fam french toast tomorrow. What am I doing? Well, I'm talking to myself basically. but this is the edited version. As a certain boy would know you must first make me slightly mad to make me talk freely. I will not be slightly mad on this blog, I will be reserved about what I write. But you're free to read between the lines if you so wish.
